Turn Around Your Toys

December 8, 2025 • 4 min read

This is a rather small post as the title says it all. If you feel like a toy isn't working for you, turn it 180 degrees and try it again. While it doesn't make a lot of sense for symmetric toys, for toys that have a curve or a special side that should target the p-spot or have different textures front and back side of the toy, you may get surprised. I know it sounds counterintuitive at first. After all, toys are designed that way for a reason, right? But everyone's anatomy and preferences are different, and you might be surprised by its effect.

For example the well-beloved . While many users love this toy, there are some who find it too grippy or struggle to get fully comfortable with it. I had that feeling too. While it already felt good when used as intended, it felt so much better by just turning it around so the curve that actually was designed to point towards the prostate now faces away from it. It sounds very counterintuitive and still it was super interesting on how different and more comfortable it felt.

A similar approach is already very well known and discussed for the . Where a common technique is to turn it 180 degrees and hit the prostate with its back (backbender).

This trick also worked surprisingly well for some other toys I've tried. While this for sure not works with every toy, and probably your favorite toy already hits the spot right how you want it, however if you struggled with a curved/textured/non-flat/asymmetric toy/dildo and were thinking it not suites you, may give it a second chance turned around. Just remember to take it slow, never force anything, and stop if you feel pain.
