Techniques
There are many different ways to stimulate the prostate. Each technique offers unique sensations and benefits:
- Different approaches for different comfort levels
- Techniques that work with or without toys
- Methods ranging from passive to active stimulation
- Options for both beginners and experienced users
Remember that what works best can vary from person to person and even day to day. Keep experimenting - what doesn't work today might work great next time!
The Do Nothing Approach
As the name suggests, you might think this is the simplest technique, and in theory, it is. It's about doing nothing and being present in the moment, enjoying the sensations without any active intervention.
However, it's not easy to do nothing. Our minds are always thinking, trying to control the situation. The challenge is to be present and enjoy the sensations without expectations or goals.
Recommended Toys
This technique can work with various types of toys. Choose one that's comfortable for you, not too big or too small, and has a flared base for safety. Handsfree toys are best suited for this technique as they allow you to fully relax without needing to manually manipulate the toy. Some recommended options include:
How to do it
- 1Find a comfortable position where you can fully relax and let go.
- 2Optionally, insert your prostate massager or plug.
- 3Wait for sensations to arise naturally. Don't force them; simply listen to your body and observe its responses. Initially, sensations may be subtle, but they'll become more noticeable with practice. If you're having trouble feeling anything, try using arousal stimulants like erotic audio or pornography to help get you in the right mindset.
- 4When you feel something, "follow the rabbit." Don't try to control or direct the feelings; just go with them. Try to stay relaxed and go with the flow.
- 5At times, pleasure may intensify, causing your body to tense up automatically. You can either:
- Allow your body to tense as it naturally wants to, or
- Intentionally relax if tension becomes distracting or exhausting. This may temporarily decrease pleasure, but it often returns stronger if you remain patient.
- 6Continue riding these waves of pleasure, letting them build and recede naturally, until you achieve orgasm.
Tips and Tricks
Try not to cum
This sounds a bit counterintuitive, but trying not to climax can increase your level of arousal, making it easier to reach an orgasm.
Visualize the prostate
Imagining how your prostate is being touched and stimulated can also help you reach an orgasm.
Muscle Contractions
This technique relies on contracting different muscle groups to stimulate the prostate. This includes pelvic floor muscles as well as anal sphincter contractions. It takes time to learn how to contract your muscles properly.
There are different strategies on how to get those muscles stimulating your prostate.

Handsfree toys are best suited for this technique as they allow you to fully relax without needing to manually manipulate the toy. Some recommended options include:
Fatigue Technique
This technique involves alternating between periods of intense muscle contraction and relaxation. The goal is to fatigue your muscles until they reach a point of uncontrolled spasming. Those spasms then lead to stimulation of the prostate.
- 1Find a comfortable position where you can relax and focus on your pelvic muscles.
- 2Contract your pelvic floor muscles (as if you're trying to stop urinating) as hard as you can for 10-15 seconds.
- 3Slowly release the contraction over another 10-15 seconds.
- 4While releasing, look for any point of pleasure. If you find one, you can try to hold the contraction at this point for a bit longer.
- 5Repeat this process for 5-10 minutes or until you feel your muscles starting to fatigue.
- 6As your muscles tire, you may notice involuntary contractions or spasms. That's good - it's what we want.
- 7Once those muscles start to spasm, don't try to control them, just enjoy the sensations.
- 8Ideally those involuntary contractions will lead to pleasure waves and ultimately to a prostate orgasm.
Controlled Muscle Contraction Technique
This technique involves consciously contracting and relaxing your pelvic floor muscles in a controlled manner.
To perform this technique effectively, you'll need to develop control over specific muscles in your pelvic floor. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that support the pelvic organs, including the bladder, rectum, and prostate. The main muscles involved are:
- Pubococcygeus (PC) muscle: This is the primary muscle used to stop urination midstream.
- Iliococcygeus muscle: This muscle works with the PC muscle to support the pelvic organs.
- Puborectalis muscle: This muscle forms a sling around the rectum and helps maintain continence.
Learning to isolate and control these muscles individually can greatly enhance your ability to stimulate the prostate through muscle contractions.

Manual Stimulation
This approach involves directly stimulating the prostate with either a finger or a toy.
It allows for precise control and feedback, making it a popular technique for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
How to do it
- 1Ensure your hands and nails are clean and trimmed.
- 2Use plenty of lubricant on your finger or toy.
- 3Gently insert your finger or toy, curving towards the front of your body.
- 4Locate the prostate (feels like a small, round bulb) about 2-3 inches inside.
- 5Experiment with different motions: circular, "come hither," tapping, or applying steady pressure.
- 6Pay attention to what feels good and adjust accordingly.
- 7Continue stimulating steadily and patiently - rushing or increasing intensity often reduces sensitivity. While a gentle, consistent rhythm is often effective, what works best varies significantly between individuals and requires experimentation to find what works for you.
Recommended Toys
While manual stimulation can be done with just your fingers, using specialized toys can enhance the experience and make it easier to reach and stimulate the prostate. There is one toy that is highly recommended:
Other than that, you can also use various types of dildos.
